ኢትዮጵያ ጥንታዊ የፖለቲካ ሥርዓት ካላቸው ሀገራት አንዷ ናት። የኢትዮጵያ ሀገረ-መንግስት በአፍሪካ ግንባር ቀደም በዓለም ደግሞ ቀደምት ከሚባሉ ጥቂት ሀገረ መንግስታት አንዱ ነው። በዚህ ረጅም የሀገረ-መንግስትነት ዕድሜ ሀገርቷ የተለያዩ የሀገረ-መንግስት ሞደሎችን፤ የተለያዩ የመንግስት ዓይነቶችን፤ የተለያዩ የመንግስት ሥርዓቶችን፤ የተለያዩ የፖለቲካ ርዕዮተ ዓለማትንና የ��ለያዩ የኢኮኖሚ ስርዓቶችን ሞክራለች።

1) የኢትዮጵያ የሀገረ-መንግስት ሞደል ሙከራዎች፤
ኢትዮጵያ ኢምፓየር ከመሆን እስከ ብሔረ-መንግስት ግንባታ አሁን ደግሞ በብሔር ብሔረሰቦች ስምምነት ላይ የተመሰረተ ኀብረ-ብሔራዊ ሀገረ-መንግስት ወደ መገንባት መጥታለች። እስከ ዐጼ ኃይለ ሥላሴ ድረስ ያሉ የኢትዮጵያ ነገሥታት ኢምፓየር ግንባታ ሙከራ እንደነበራቸው ይነገራል። በግልጽ ከተለያዩ ሀገራት ፖሊሲ በመቅዳት የኢትዮጵያ ብሔር ብሔረሰቦችን አንድ ላይ በመጨፍለቅ አንድ ወጥ ብሔር ለመገንባት የመጀመሪያውን ሙከራ ያደረጉት ዐፄ ኃይለ ሥላሴ ናቸው የሚሉ ጻፍት አሉ። የኢትዮጵያ ዋነኛው ችግር የብሔረ-መንግስት ግንባታ ጅማሮ አለመጠናቀቁና እንደ ሕዝብ ወደ ብሔር አለመምጣታችን ነው በማለት የሚቆጩ ዛሬም ድረስ አሉ። ከ1983 ዓ/ም ጀምሮ ደግሞ በግልጽ ኅብረ ብሔራዊ ሀገረ መንግስት በሕገ መንግስት ተዋቀረ።

2) የመንግስት ዓይነቶች፤
ኢትዮጵያ ረጅም የመንግስት ታሪክ እንዳላት የሚያሳዩ መረጃዎችም አሉ። ትላልቆቹን እምነቶች በመቀበል ግንባር ቀደም ሀገር እንደሆነችው ሁሉ የተለያዩ የመንግስትና የፖለቲካ ስርዓቶችም ቤተ ሙከራ ነበረች ማለት ይቻላል። ሀገሪቱ በተለያዩ ጊዜያት የማዕከላዊ መንግስት አልባ ከመሆን ጀምሮ እስከ ዴሞክራሲያዊ ሪፐብሊክ የዘለቀ ሙክራዎችን አድርጋለች። ከአንዱ የመንግስት ሥርዓት ወደ ሌላኛው የመንግስት ሥርዓት የተደረጉ የሽግግር ሙከራዎችም ደም አፋሳሽና ስር ነቀል እንደነበሩ ከታሪክ እንረዳለን። ሥርዓት አልበኝነት ወይም አናርኪ ከሚመስሉ ሁኔታዎች (የመሪ አልባነት) እስከ ሞናርኪ (የአንድ ሰው መንግስት) እስከ ኦልጋርኪ (የጥቅት ሰዎች መንግስት) እስከ ዴሞክራስ (የሕዝብ መንግስት) ሞክራለች።

3) የመንግስት ሥርዓቶች
ለረጅም ጊዜ በአሃዳዊነት የሚትከሰስ ኢትዮጵያ በ1952 ከኤርትራ ጋር በፌዴረሽን ተቆራኝታ ነበር። እእአ ከ1991 ጀምሮ ደግሞ የፌዴራል አወቃቀን ተከተለች። በነገራችን ላይ በአሃዳዊ እና በፌዴራል መንግስት መካከል ያለውን ልዩነትን ከመረዳት አንጻር ክፍተት ያለ ይመስለኛል። አንዱ ቡድን አሃዳዊ መንግስትን ሁሉ መጥፎ፤ ፌዴራላዊ መንግስትን ደግሞ ጥሩ አድርጎ የማቅረብ ሌላኛው ቡድን ደግሞ አሃዳዊ መንግስትን ጥሩ፤ ፌዴራላዊ መንግስትን ደግሞ ሀገር አፍዳሽ አድርጎ የማቅረብ አዝማሚያ የተለመደ ሆኖዋል። እውነቱ ግን የሁለቱ የመንግስት ስርዓቶች ዋነኛው ልዩነት ያለው የስልጣን ምንጭ ላይ ብቻ ነው። በአሃዳዊ መንግስት ሕገ መንግስቱ ስልጣን ሙሉ በሙሉ ለማዕከላዊ መንግስት በቻ ሲሰጥ በፌዴራላዊ መንግስት ግን ሕገ መንግስቱ ስልጣንን ማከፋፈሉ ብቻ ነው።

4) የተሞከሩ የፖለቲካ ርዕዮተ-ዓለማት
በ��ቀነቀን የመብት ዓይነትና ርዕዮተ-ዓለምም የተለያዩ የመንግስት ዓይነቶችን መለየት ይቻላል። በዚህ መንገድ በዋናነት ሁለት ዓይነት የመንግስት ሥርዓቶችን መለየት ይቻላል። አንዱ የግል መብት ላይ ትኩረት የሚያደርግ የመንግስት ሥርዓት (more liberalist) ሲሆን ሌላኛው ደግሞ የቡድን መብቶችን ያስቀድማል (more nationalist)። እንደ ሌሎቹ የጎላ ባይሆንም ሁለቱንም ርዕዮቶች የሚያራምዱ መንግስታት በኢትዮጵያ ታሪክ ታይቶዋል ማለት ይቻላል።

5) የተሞከሩ የኢኮኖሚ ስርዓቶች
በኢኮኖሚ ስርዓትም ቢሆን ኢትዮጵያ ከጋርዮሽ ስርዓት እስከ ፊውዳሊዝም እስከ ሶሻሊዝም፤ ካፒታሊዝም እና የተቀላቀለ የኢኮኖሚ ስርዓት ሞክራለች።

*** እንደ ሀገር ያልሞከ��ነዉ ነገር ቢኖር ቁጭ በለን፤ ትንፋሻችንን ሰብስበን፤ አብረን መርሳት ያለብንን ረስተን፣ አብረን ማስታወስ ያለብንን በጋራ ለመገንባት ወስነን መነጋገር ብቻ ነው። ይችህን ሞክረን ካሳካን ግን የሁሉ ነገር መፍትሄ ይኖራታል።
