Naperville's ordinance regulating e-bikes, e-scooters & higher-speed devices is still in effect. E-bikes & e-scooters are not permitted on sidewalks or the Riverwalk. Riders must be 16+ to operate an e-bike or 18+ to operate an e-scooter. (1/3)
Higher-speed motorized devices (those that exceed 750 watts, do not have operable pedals, or go faster than 28 mph) are NOT allowed in Naperville unless they're appropriately titled and registered as motor vehicles and operated according to state law. (2/3)
