As I mentioned last weekend, in yet another example of how erratic #Monsoon2026 was expected to be, we'll see a complete 180° after the deluge opener to July.

I'm talking sunny skies, negligible rains and hot humid weather returning.

Mod-heavy showers likely till first half Wednesday for N #Konkan incl #Mumbai MMR, #Pune and #Nashik. Post noon, sunny intervals will make an appearance. S Konkan and Goa will see showers till evening.

#ElNino + MJO #Suppression and major #DryAir intrusion will instantly kill off any shower clouds from Thursday.

Mostly dry, sunny weather to prevail over #Vidarbha #Marathwada and Madhya Maha from 9th, save for isolated light activities. Same goes for entire Konkan Goa.

Maximums will rise to 30-32°C again leading to discomfort with humidity.

​On 5 July, a car with tinted windows was reportedly driven at high speed on the wrong side of the road and struck two pedestrians near Inorbit Mall.

​A case has been registered at @BangurNagarPS under BNS sections 281, 125, 115(2), 126(2), 351(2), and 352, along with sections 184, 177, and 194(b)(1) of the Motor Vehicles Act. Further investigation is underway.

There is big lesson here for the PRO of @PMOIndia, I don't know if they were mislead or they don't know enough about what a successful satellite mission means even but.....

Do not thump your chest until proper success. Launching a satellite is not mission success. Missions starts after seperation. It's not easy either. Especially with a custom bus n all.

Now that PMO saw this experience I'm worried other actually successful space missions won't get PMO and ministers posting about it.

This applies to non space stuff too, wait for proper success, not beat the drum early. Or be transparent during the celebration staying more work left to do and this mid goal has been reached.

भाजपा के दो समर्थक, दोनों कट्टर दक्षिणपंथी, सनातनी और राष्ट्रवादी, 20% एथेनॉल नीति पर चर्चा कर रहे हैँ । इनका कहना है कि जितना पेट्रोल आप एथेनॉल मिलाकर बचाते हैं, उससे 10 गुना ज़्यादा ईंधन ट्रैफिक जाम और खराब सड़कों में बर्बाद हो जाता है। बाइक और कार मालिकों को एथेनॉल के कारण अपने इंजन की सुरक्षा के लिए अतिरिक्त किट लगवानी पड़ेगी, उसका खर्च कौन देगा? इथेनोल के उत्पादन में भारी मात्रा में पानी की खपत होती है और इसके पर्यावरणीय प्रभावों पर भी कहीं गंभीर चर्चा नहीं हो रही।
इन दोनों से अलग मेरा कहना है कि अकेले दिल्ली में प्रवेश करते समय सभी बॉर्डर पर टोल के कारण जो लंबा जाम लगता है, उसमें जितना पेट्रोल बर्बाद हो जाता है, उसे 100% एथेनॉल नीति भी नहीं बचा पाएगी।
