@TruthyDWilliams@ThisIsNotZain could he be figuring it out, sure. I do think if he makes some of those throws against Houston it's a 3-4 pick game. On the pass to Charlie Jones, he force fed it when the better pass was Nabers who had more room. That's a walk in TD if Nabers beats his man.
Nabers is in year 3. He's eligible to be extended in January 2027 and the giants will extend him b/c the WR market. Unless JJ goes to a title game, i think he's gone if Dart is healthy. I don't think they're close & the extra 2 yrs of Dart give you more flexibility.
4 of those deep throws were INT worthy, 1 was on Fields for not sitting on the route, and he deadass was playing a Saints team that didnt prepare for him to play meaningful snaps. I'd love to be wrong but I watched him with the Vikings, I'm personally not sold.
@TruthyDWilliams@ThisIsNotZain 27 is yr 4 for JJ. His fifth year option would be 25m
Burns will want Anderson Jr $(50m)
Nabers is on pace for 1400 yards, he will want 35m
AT will want top 5 T money, around 30m
Barring a NFC title game, imo JJ is traded to whoever misses a QB in 2027 draft
@TruthyDWilliams@ThisIsNotZain Salary cap. Nabers will be talking extension this offseason. Burns and Thomas have zero guaranteed money next year, they're going to get extended. If he wins 10 games, he's gonna be demanding 30-50 million a year. Salary cap is why we wouldn't keep him, have to be a superstar qb
@TruthyDWilliams@ThisIsNotZain Giants wont have that kind of money. They have to extend Nabers who is eligible end of this season, Brian Burns and Andrew Thomas ZERO money left after this season too, so they need new contracts. JJ would have to look like a superstar to not roll with the Dart rookie contract
nah of course. either way, you flip someone for a higher pick than what it cost to get him. Personally think Dart has more upside and he's got 3 years left on his rookie deal vs JJ deadass would need to be paid next year and is likely getting a Daniel Jones level contract if he plays well
@KazeB189 Either he becomes Yamcha, someone who was once viewed as strong and then quickly became used to measure strength for new characters...or he becomes Frieza and gets used to measure strength but way down the line he gets a second chance to be a badass.
Harbaugh said part of why he took the job was Dart. That was one of the first things out his mouth. In an open competition I don’t think JJ beats him out. Similar skill set but deadass if you put Dart on that same Viking team last year they do better…he was throwing to practice squad guys not 2 WR 1s and a top tight end. He only ran so reckless last year because he had to. The WRs couldn’t get separation and they were dropping passes.
The #Titans have released DT Jordan Elliott following an incident at the team facility on Thursday, Oct. 15. The team reviewed the incident and says it will have no further comment.
Elliott, who has 65 career starts, appeared in five games this season for Tennessee.
@postcrabcore He's 27 and already elite and locked in until end of 2028. Do it. Him or Nelson, i'd trade whatever. Not like we haven't missed on second round picks before....JMS...make the trade
