Some of us and others say:
“If Hamas had not carried out its operation against the Israeli occupier, all this killing, victims, destruction and siege on Gaza would not have occurred, and therefore Hamas had to think about the results before undertaking this operation”!!
The answer is simply,
If Hamas or any other resistance movement in the world had not carried out operations, the occupier would have remained comfortable in its occupation forever, the issue of Palestine would have been forgotten and the global popular conscience would not have awakened as it is happening today!!!

Therefore, no matter how painful are the losses and sacrifices,
the goal of the resistance is to raise its cause to the court of local, Arab and international public opinion, after all doors of solutions in Palestine were closed before it while Israel expands its occupation and settlements every day.

The goal of a resistance is to hurt the enemy, and the more the enemy suffers, the more he will reconsider his occupation and the more he will think about returning the land and rights to their owners…
This is the rule of history,
that a generation should be martyred today so that the cause will remain alive, generation after generation, until the occupation ends and the land and dignity are restored...

Thus resistance,
If the oil in the lamp had not burned, there would be no light...

يقول البع�� عندنا وعند غيرنا:
" لو لم تقم حركة حماس بعمليتّها ضد المُحتَلّ الاسرائيلي لما حصل كل هذا القتل والضحايا والدمار والحصار على غزّة، وبالتالي كان على حركة حماس أن تفكّر بالنتائج قبل إقدامها على هذه العملية "!!
والجواب ببساطة،
لو لم تقم حماس أو أي حركة مقاومة أخرى في العالم بعمليات كهذه، لبقِيَ المُحتَلّ مرتاحاً في إحتلاله الى الأبد، ولكانت قضية فلسطين في طيّ النسيان ولما استفاق الضمير الشعبي العالمي كما يحصل اليوم!!
ولهذا، ومهما كانت الخسائر والتضحيات المؤلمة،
فهدف المقاومة أن ترفع قضيتّها الى محكمة الرأي العام المحلي والعربي والعالمي بعدما أقفلت امامها كل ابواب الحلول في فلسطين فيما توسّع اسرائيل إحتلالها واستيطانها كل يوم،
وهدف المقاومة أن تؤلم العدوّ، وكلما تألّم العدوّ كلما أعاد النظر في احتلاله وكلما فكّر في إعادة الارض والحقوق الى اصحابها…

هكذا هي سُنَّة التاريخ،
أن يستشهد هذا الجيل اليوم لتبقى القضية حيّةً جيلاً بعد جيل حتى زوال الاحتلال وإستعادة الارض والكرامة…

هكذا المقاومة،
لو لم يحترق الزيت في القنديل لما كان هنالك نور…
