The interesting part is that in real life, locomotives have actually been stolen, illegally scrapped, or sold to private collectors. So it makes me wonder: if the TTTE world were a bit more realistic, could an underground engine smuggling or theft ring actually exist?🤔

Theoretically, smugglers would have to somehow silence the whistle, secure the brakes and wheels, and transport the engine on a flatbed so it couldn't escape. They could even repaint it, change its number, and sell it to another railway—or even another country.⬇️
