2-1 at #TMNT prerelease last night. Overall happy with what I built. Surprised myself with the deck synergies
I am not a big fan of TMNT being in #magicthegathering , but I did think the limited gameplay felt very fun. At least the core gameplay of Magic is still rewarding
3-0 at #lorwyneclipsed prerelease today! Ended up with a crazy Jeskai deck. Honestly felt like super luck to end up with good mythics and rares as well as 2 shock lands to support it.
Overall a banger start for Magic this year!

With Riftbound's English release closing in, makes me rethink a lot about the games I want to focus on and put my enjoyment into. I still love MTG as I am sure most people still do. But man seeing the discourse online for a game you love even if it is warranted feels bad
Currently in the Pokémon ZA waiting room since my switch hasn't come in yet. I've seen some good things about the new games but will have to play it to know for sure
I've been seeing a lot of people talk about the low turnout for Spiderman prerelease. I'm honestly kinda glad to see that it was a universal experience and not just at my store. Still sucks to see a set die before it is even born, even if I agree
I say this as someone who loved the bonus sheet of both OTJ and WOE. They are clearly willing to make great bonus sheets (Special Guests or whatever they want to call it). They should keep bringing them back
One thing I do like about these Universes Beyond sets is that WotC clearly is willing to put up some big reprints in the bonus sheet. Rhystic (FF), Opp Agent (Spiderman), Great Henge (Avatar). Nice to see these cards get some reprints
