One missile crossed into Poland last night. NATO scrambled warplanes. The alliance's commander phoned Warsaw to confirm all necessary measures would be taken. Correct, proportionate, and exactly right.
The same missile came from the same salvo that killed ten civilians in Ukraine, wounded more than fifty, and put tens of thousands of Kyivans on the floor of a metro station.
One crossing became an international incident. Two hundred crossings became Thursday.
This is not hypocrisy. It is something more useful to understand: a demonstration of what a security guarantee actually is. Poland is inside the line, so a single fragment triggers jets, calls, and statements. Ukraine is outside it, so an entire night of ballistics triggers a paragraph.
Everything Ukraine has asked for, for four years, is contained in that difference.
And note what Moscow learned last night — not whether NATO would respond, but the exact width of the line where the response begins.
The most valuable real estate in Europe is not territory.
It is the inside of that line.

In the strike on Radushne, for the first time in a while, the Russians used a North Korean missile, according to preliminary data. Of course, more examinations will follow, and everything will be verified, but as of now – it is a North Korean ballistic missile. The alliance between the Moscow scumbags and the deranged regime in North Korea exists for the sake of missiles, North Korean troops on our borders here in Europe, and killing our Ukrainian children.
Of course, many around the world condemned this strike today. There were many expressions of sympathy over the loss of life. European countries also made many statements because a Russian missile flew into Polish territory and exploded somewhere in a field near Lublin. What matters most, however, is not mere sympathy and condemnation, but air defense missiles and pressure on Russia that can stop this dumb Russian war. Air defense missiles – for Patriots in the first place, but also for NASAMS, IRIS-T, HAWK, and our other systems – are the key priority.
I hope that all of our partners – above all our American partners, as well as our friends in Europe – will feel that real human lives depend on whether they help us.
Since last night, response efforts have been underway in Kyiv and the surrounding region following Russia’s strike. There were numerous fires across the city. Seven districts were affected, and, as usual, the Russians struck ordinary residential buildings. Eighteen residential buildings, a school, the Lithuanian Embassy, and infrastructure facilities were damaged. As of now, nine people have been reported killed in this attack. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Dozens of people were injured. Medical teams are helping everyone who needs it.
Overnight, the Russians launched 35 missiles at Ukraine, including 27 ballistic missiles, as well as 185 attack drones of various types. Kyiv was the primary target, but strikes also hit the Dnipro, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Poltava regions. Only one ballistic missile was intercepted, simply because there are no interceptors for the Patriot systems. And it is this shortage of ballistic missile interceptors that only encourages Russia to launch such attacks that take human lives.
It is critical that partners hear that these capabilities are needed not somewhere in stockpiles for hypothetical scenarios, but here and now, to contain and stop the Russian war in Ukraine. Every package of ballistic missile interceptors saves the lives of our people. And every night without them results in more casualties. I thank everyone who is working to strengthen our defenses.
#russia strikes. #Kyiv has no patriots for defence. @POTUS45 continues to stall on the patriots for defence. #putin happy and orders more strikes. War goes on. Ukrainians killed every night in their beds. World watches.
Kyiv 💔 Nine people killed in the middle of the night in a European capital because Ukraine still lacks protection against Russian ballistic missiles. How many more?!
Russia hit Ukraine overnight with 35 missiles and 185 drones. Air defense shot down 2 missiles and 154 drones. Kyiv was the main target.
The attack included 4 Zircons, 27 Iskander-M/S-400 missiles, 2 Kh-31, 2 Kh-59/69 and 185 drones of various types. 30 missiles and 23 drones hit 21 locations.
In Kyiv, 9 killed, 30 wounded. 5 ambulances burned, 20 vehicles damaged, 18 buildings hit, a school and Lithuania's embassy damaged.
I'm not a racist. I'm a culturalist
I believe some cultures are superior to others
For example, I prefer cultures that do not encourage wife beating, paedophilia, clitorectomies, stoning and constant inflation of the male ego
I am also aware of the difference between Islamoscepticism and Islamophobia
Notice that hate does not come into this
Only moral preferences

We cannot allow anyone to come to our Union without abiding by our rules.
Dangerous crossings must stop immediately. Smuggling networks must be dismantled. And returns must be swift, as our rules allow.
I tasked two Commissioners to support to control the situation.

I am confident that our close partnership with Morocco will help deliver concrete results.
Українські рятувальники вирушили до Франції, щоб допомогти у боротьбі з масштабними лісовими пожежами. Це перша місія української команди з надання допомоги державі-члену Європейського Союзу в межах Механізму цивільного захисту ЄС.
The anti Ukraine stuff on the left is just amazing to me because Russia Ukraine is about as straightforward a conflict as there is in the modern world. Like, it really doesn’t get much clearer than Russia invading Ukraine and trying to erase it as a political entity.
A lot of people around the world still believe in“great” 🇷🇺 culture myth and turn blind eye how it was and is weaponised.
Came across the most vivid example so far - St Petersburg Conservatory directly advertises recruitment of drone pilots.
⚡️ Russian missile strike kills three generations of Ukrainian family.
A Russian missile strike killed an entire family inside their home, taking the lives of parents Artem and Olena, their children, and their 18-month-old grandson.
