There are no words at this moment about how I feel about all of this and maybe it’ll be a few days or weeks🤷🏼♀️I just know that I will be forever grateful for my medical team and every single RN that had to put up with my trickster veins🙄
•
And the biggest thank you and appreciation to every single family member, friend, coworker and neighbour who cared, who checked up on me with a simple text message or dm and sent positivity my way and kept me sane and going!
Grateful!

GIMLI is up to ⚾️⚾️⚾️ (there's seriously no baseball bat emoji's🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
See the details below to make your generous donation to keep vehicle's moving!
The warriors of Gimli Division continue their work near Kostiantynivka, launching FPV drones, delivering supplies, and defending Ukraine. We’re raising funds for four sets of tires to keep their vehicles moving through roads scarred by war.
The road to victory is traveled one mile at a time.
⚔️ Victory or Valhalla ⚔️
We’ve raised $221.24 and need $2000 to complete our mission.

Much Appreciation🙏🏽to all that have already contributed to the 50% of funds raised!
Another 50% or $1,666.64 to go
This is the first one. We are on day 16 of this collection and have reached 50% of our target of $3333.28 to repair 3 vehicles for the 91st.
https://t.co/YP7uTdvHUI
I’ll try again. I only had one like on the post below. 🧐 So I keep trying. For the soldiers!!
Day 2 of this collection.
@GimliDivision is currently defending the Kostiantynivka sector, one of the most fiercely contested areas of the front. ruzzian forces continue to pressure the city and the surrounding supply routes, while Ukrainian defenders work tirelessly to hold the line. Reports indicate that fighting remains intense and that logistics and resupply operations are becoming increasingly difficult.
That is why something as simple as a set of tires matters.
Every day, vehicles carry FPV drones, supplies, equipment, and the men who stand between Ukraine and those trying to destroy it. The roads are scarred by war, littered with shrapnel and debris, and every trip comes with risk.
Yesterday we raised $185.
Today another $5 joined the mission.
Step by step.
Mile by mile.
Together, we keep them moving.

Just like every post I share here
It is a story about my city — a city that inspires me and restores my faith

She won the Nova Scotia provincial curling championship a record 16 times.
Colleen Jones is all over the trophy. And so it only seems fitting the trophy is now named after her. A beautiful celebration in Halifax today to honour her.
My story: https://t.co/0gVWf5Uex4
@BattlefieldInte Oooo............ I never thought of doing something like that, my photographer eyes like and now I'm going to have to try this out LMAO
Before I log off for the night, one more share because this stayed with me.
No one is defending Ukraine for medals or recognition. They are defending family, freedom and survival.
And it truly takes a hive - defenders on the front, social media volunteers raising funds and sharing posts, Ukrainians sending supplies east through Nova Poshta, and people helping however they can.
Every bit matters. Every day.
Many have asked about watching Colleen Jones CBC Hall of Fame induction ceremony from yesterday in Halifax.
Here it is. My opening remarks about my pal. And then a spectacular highlight reel of Coll's CBC broadcasting adventures.

In a room full of people she loved, and who loved her equally as much, we inducted Colleen Jones into the CBC News Hall of Fame today.
Fittingly, her bike 🚲 she rode to many of the stories she told was on the stage for it.
It was so special, emotional and she is so missed.
🧵 REPORT: DRAKKAR REPAIR & RESTORATION : @GimliDivision 🇺🇦🚙
Today I’m sharing the full financial report for Drakkar.
Commander Gimli provided detailed receipts and a full breakdown of the repair + restoration work completed after an incredibly difficult period under constant shelling near Kramatorsk.
Total repair cost: 195,993.16 UAH (~$4,455 USD)
The remaining costs beyond fundraising were covered personally by the commander from his own funds.
From commander Gimli:
“It has been restored. It is absolutely awesome. It is fully operational and ready for combat use. The day after tomorrow it will have its first combat mission.”
Thank you to everyone who donated, shared, checked in, and cared about this vehicle and this unit.
Your support helped get Drakkar back on the road and back where it’s needed.
