I asked @Keir_Starmer many months ago,if a general election was called tomorrow were they ready for Government. His answer was an emphatic YES...and I now see why. Depth of talented Ministers forming an impressive Cabinet....I am beginning to dare to feel hope.
Bloody hell, a cabinet made up of serious, capable, professional people who also possess human empathy.
We haven’t had one of those for years.
Our best are back in power.
Rayner. A woman who came from nothing and fought her way up to the role of Deputy PM and Secretary of State.
What an inspiration.
This will be the most working class government in British political history.
No more old Etonians making decisions for us.

Take it in. The first female chancellor. The first housing secretary who's actually lived in social housing. The first education secretary who was on free school meals. An energy secretary who actually believes in aggressively fighting climate change. Not a bad afternoon.
