Do you notice how every couple of days there’s some new big issue that divides people and isn’t at all political but is somehow being skewed to be?
It’s exhausting and I’m about to opt out of all of it.
We’ve lost our middle ground and need to return to sanity.
Can’t say anything on this site without people assuming you’re talking about something you’re not.
If I was making a post about a specific thing, I’d say so.
You know what happens when you ASSUME? 👀
Gen Z’s weird thought process that having sex with someone while intoxicated is rape because they can’t consent is wild because half of their generation wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for drunk people hooking up.😅
A stalker blew the front door off a Florida home with a shotgun at 4:30 a.m. to get to a 15-year-old girl.
Her dad, a retired cop, ended it.
No charges. Stand Your Ground worked exactly as written.
This is why the 2nd Amendment exists. A father does not have a duty to retreat while an armed predator is coming through his door for his daughter.
Protect your family. 🇺🇸🔥
There’s something fascinating about people who spend an incredible amount of time digging through other people’s lives, hunting for something to criticize, complain about, judge, twist, or smear.
Psychology has plenty to say about why people become preoccupied with other people’s flaws. Sometimes criticism is a convenient distraction from self examination. Sometimes tearing someone else down provides a temporary boost to self esteem. Sometimes confirmation bias means they’ve already decided who you are, so they keep searching until they find something they can force into the story they’ve created.
And when reality doesn’t give them enough material, some people simply fill in the blanks with lies. Rumors become facts. Assumptions become motives. Missing context gets replaced with whatever version makes the target look worst. In the more extreme cases, people create multiple accounts or identities to repeat the same narrative until manufactured consensus starts looking like independent agreement.
Meanwhile, they have no idea what your actual life looks like. They know posts, screenshots, fragments, rumors, and whatever conclusions they’ve invented themselves.
Imagine investing that much time and energy into someone you supposedly can’t stand.
At some point, maybe stop digging through everyone else’s garbage and look down.
You might notice the shit stains from your own life you’ve been dragging around behind you while you were so busy pointing at everyone else’s.
Self-awareness is considerably more productive than running an amateur detective agency dedicated to people you claim not to care about.
