We saw lots of babies born in the Health Board area over the Bank Holiday weekend – a whopping 64 altogether (the average weekend sees around 48 births).

If you give birth unexpectedly before the arrival of any assistance, leave the umbilical cord until help arrives. No need to use dirty old shoe/ face mask strings or phone charger cables. Emergency service workers, can we stop advising the parents to do this please?
