Recently, my youtube uploads suddenly started getting abysmally low views, and this was way beyond the occasional dud, so today I looked into it and it was the most demented thing I've experienced in my online career.

Appartenly youtube has enabled AI translation of the video title, description, and worst of all: AUDIO, making me sound like a google assistant for whatever local language the viewer is from.

The worst part is that this """feature""" was enabled by default, I didn't even know until a viewer reached out and let me know how annoying it was to have to manually switch it off for every video.

Granted, this might be a useful feature for some monolingual youtubers if used right, but for someone like me with a primarily multilingual european audience, it's just horrible, and switching it on without excplicit consent from my end is insane
