@NCRCisLIT Send home a sheet at the beginning of the school year. If they want to do it, I send home another sheet for them to write 3 clues about themselves and the kids have to guess if they think they know who it could be (grandma, grandpa, mom etc.) During covid
@NCRCisLIT Mystery readers I’ve done before covid! But it would be cool to bring in people from the community that the students may not be familiar with, but who play an important role in our city!
@NCRCisLIT A1. Our school is awesome at this! Minot state hockey team, MSU baseball players, fine to donate, food for PT conferences and our PTO is in constant communication with businesses and people in our community!
@NCRCisLIT A.5 Grade 3. What do you do with a problem. Teaches kids that it’s okay to struggle, but worrying about it won’t make it go away. If we tackle those problems we can sometimes learn a lesson from them.
@NCRCisLIT Q.3- grade 3. sorry I am not helping in this book search! We haven’t gotten into science yet but if you’re looking for a quick science mini lesson, “mystery science” has some awesome videos!
@NCRCisLIT Q2. Grade 3: This is my first year teaching third grade so I haven’t really dabbled in any yet. We did just do a continents unit and John Hoeven library was very helpful with lots of resources 😉 if any 3rd grade teachers have any recommendations I’ll take them!
@NCRCisLIT A.1 The Invisable Boy. I love it because it teaches students about inclusion and treating others how we want to be treated. The simple act of sitting by someone at lunch! I teach 3rd grade!
