Day 4 science corner
At 96 hours fasting: Immune system regenerates/resets, autophagy peaks (deep cellular repair), fat fuels body/brain, insulin sensitivity is optimal, inflammation plummets, and mental clarity soars.
Starting my annual 96 hour fast. I started this last year.
I ate dinner tonight and will eat again Wednesday night. I’m only drinking water. Will post regular updates on what my body/mind are doing.
Day 4
2. My body adapted very quickly to not eating and continuing to function.
3. I am reminded again how much food I normally eat and how little food I actually need to survive/thrive.
