Great win tonight and great show of patience by our boys. Awesome to see our senior captain with the hatty and a Freshman I’ve had the pleasure of coaching from way back in the Squirt house league days score his first HS goal!

Big opening night W for the Spartans, 5-1 over RBR. Captain Owen Mumm topped the scoring with a natural hatty and an assist. Chris Browning had a goal and two assists. Mason Ansell scored his first HS goal and Liam Forster added two assists. First "O-Chain" went to the frosh!

@ianmiles Many reasons. Having lived in CO for a long time we saw this every year/fire season….always some arson (weirdo religious cult in Boulder county), some dumb (life long fireman burning leaves during Chinook winds), lightning strikes, unmanaged camp fires in the high country, etc
