Russia isolated?
What a joke.
The opinion of Steven Arrazola de Oñate that I’d like to share with you.
While here in Europe we fool ourselves with fairy tales about “sanctions that work” and “Putin being isolated,” in Tianjin we see the real story. The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) just held its biggest summit ever. More than twenty world leaders, ten international organizations, deals on energy, technology, trade, and security. And right in the middle of that power game? Vladimir Putin. Surrounded by Xi Jinping and Narendra Modi. The bear, the dragon, and the elephant – shoulder to shoulder, smiling, as if to say: thank you, Europe, for your stupidity. You’ve only made us stronger.
And us? We have no power, no vision, no strategy. Only empty words, woke nonsense, and an endless stream of climate dogmas.
The irony? They keep blaming Trump. But at least Trump understands that the US has been falling behind. He’s bringing companies back to America, trying to save jobs. Why? Because he knows he needs to buy time. And what does Europe do? The opposite. We dismantle our industry, open the door to cheap competition, and add even more EU regulations to destroy ourselves.
We had everything. A safe, prosperous continent. But a small elite thought it was more important to open the borders, to drag in another culture, and to turn an economic community into a political monster that nobody understands anymore. Look at the 1960s and ’70s. That’s what we should have built upon. Then we would now be the happiest people on earth. But no. We keep voting for parasites who let our prosperity evaporate.
And now the bill is due. Isolating Russia? Forget it. That country is too big, too powerful, too rich in resources. It was always an illusion. And in Brussels they thought it would be different. Meanwhile, the rest of the world is simply doing business with Moscow.
China and India are not just looking at cheap oil and gas. Their strategy is far smarter:
•They’ve seen that the West can be challenged in its old spheres of influence.
•They’ve learned how to bypass sanctions and how to undermine dollar hegemony.
•Russia (the bear) takes the hits. China (the dragon) and India (the elephant) watch, learn, and reap the benefits.
The SCO summit in Tianjin is proof of this. They’re talking there about trade, infrastructure, energy, AI, even a ten-year plan to rewrite the world order. And Europe? We’re too busy hanging rainbow flags and debating the gender of cartoon characters. Meanwhile, in Tianjin the new world map is being drawn. With the dragon, the elephant, and the bear as the new architects of power.
And us? We’re not even on it.
Wake up, Europe. Or stay asleep and become the world’s museum.
