#govstiegeler Voting is our right and our civic virtue. We all must vote so we can come together and see the America we want to work towards. Red state or blue state, we are all in this together
#govstiegeler i noticed this as well, it seemed that Trump deflected a lot when asked direct questions. I noticed Biden going on the offensive more as well. Much better debate than last, and it seemed to me that Biden won it
#hsgovchat#govstiegeler the issue of fossil fuel emissions and switching to renewable resources came up, and Biden showed himself to be much more in favor of reducing emissions and making a switch to renewable resources. More people that believe in science may vote Biden.
One of the most heated exchanges during #Debates2020 came over the issue of wind power.
President Trump falsely claimed that Joe Biden supported the Green New Deal. “I know more about wind than you do,” he added.

#govstiegeler#hsgovchat This may hurt the Trump administration’s voting chances with more liberal voters since liberal voters put a bigger focus on wearing masks to prevent the spread of covid, and hurts voting chances with people who believe in science

The moderator of this debate was not effective in silencing interruptions from both candidates, allowing a lot of rambling, especially from President Trump. #govstiegeler#hsgovchat
#ChrisWallace should have stopped the debate and drilled down on #Trump on racism. He also should have lectured him at the start about interrupting and the rules.
Trump’s hesitancy to condemn white supremacy was a key moment in this debate. This could be a huge factor in the minority vote this election. The debate as a whole pointed towards Trump’s unwillingness to deal with and address racial issues in America. #govstiegeler#hsgovchat
Chris Wallace asked President Trump during Tuesday's debate whether he was willing "to condemn white supremacists and militia groups."
"Proud Boys, stand back and stand by," he replied. "This is not a right-wing problem. This is left wing.”
