BREAKING: Just days after Pete Hegseth called the Washington Post’s casualty reporting “DISGUSTING and FAKE” and “a complete LIE” — the Pentagon quietly added 37 more wounded US troops to its own public database, 29 Navy sailors and 8 Marines, pushing the official Iran war wounded tally to 861, per the Washington Post.

The Pentagon has not disclosed when, where or how the 37 service members were wounded. A Navy official said all 29 sailors have returned to duty, while CENTCOM declined to explain the increase.

Hegseth had attacked the Post after it reported at least 22 US military personnel had died since the war began, four more than the Pentagon’s public database showed, writing on X: “This is DISGUSTING and FAKE. A complete LIE. Shame on the Washington Post — they’re worse than Iranian state media.”

The Pentagon is now publicly acknowledging dozens more wounded US troops without publicly explaining when, where or how they were injured.

Tucker responded "but what about our kids and our grandkids and like our country?" Trump said "Ah" and did not respond.

He also said Trump agreed that the war was not about the nuclear file and was being pushed by Israel for regional hegemony, to weaken the GCC, and to push US bases out.

BREAKING: Ukrainian drones have just struck Russia's Perm oil refinery this morning, one of the country's largest and one of six refineries that together produce about half of Russia's diesel, with the refinery now on fire.

This comes as the US, the world’s largest diesel exporter, is preparing a 90-day export ban that Trump is inclined to announce by the end of the week. Russia, the second largest, already halted theirs.

BREAKING: The US appears to have abandoned its naval blockade line against Iran, pulling its aircraft carriers off it entirely after Iran's first use of anti-ship ballistic missiles against a carrier. The warships have not been located in the CENTCOM area on Sentinel-2 satellite imagery since the beginning of September, including the USS George H.W. Bush, the USS George Washington, the amphibious assault ship USS Boxer and even their escorting destroyers.

The finding suggests the US has pulled back beyond the range of Iranian anti-ship missiles from a blockade line that until August sat at the exit of the Gulf of Oman. The pullback was likely prompted by Iran's first use of anti-ship ballistic missiles against a US carrier on the night of September 5 with the Qasem Basir, which has a range of about 1,200 km and covers almost the entire Arabian Sea.

Iran said on September 12 that not a single US warship remains in the Persian Gulf, down from around 30 before the attack, with all US vessels holding at least 400 km off the Iranian coast. Iran's SNSC chief Rezaei said the Qasem Basir "created hell for the Americans, and they fled."

Independent imagery had not supported that withdrawal until now.

BREAKING: France will deploy soldiers, radars and air defence systems to Saudi Arabia to protect the oil export facilities at Yanbu from Houthi attacks, with Macron not ruling out a French Air Force fighter deployment as well.

"We are going to send military assets to protect the oil facilities at Yanbu in Saudi Arabia," Macron says.

It comes two weeks after Trump refused MBS's requests for US strikes on the Houthis, and five days after Trump called off strikes with bombs already loaded on US warplanes.
