🚨 Heinz have pulled off a marketing masterclass. 🤯
FIFA World Cup stadiums are serving Heinz condiments, but because Heinz aren't an official tournament sponsor, every bottle has been covered up with black tape.
Instead of hiding from it, Heinz turned it into a campaign. The brand embraced the blackout, launched content around the taped-up bottles, and even sparked a viral exchange with Levi's.
What started as a sponsorship restriction has become one of the most talked-about marketing wins of the World Cup. 🎯🌎
🚨🚨| Thomas Tuchel with a Dig to FIFA regarding the national anthem:
“I’m begging FIFA to change the position of the photographers in the national anthem… I could not see my team.”
“I was waiting for this moment, it was very special, and I was standing in front of a wall of 50 photographers… I could not see one single player and it ruined my experience a little bit.” 🇬🇧⚽
It started with a phone call.
It ended with eternal adoration.

🥹💬 Wayne Rooney’s message to Kobbie Mainoo [via @BBCSport]:
“Hi Kobbie, just a quick message to say good luck at the World Cup. Just be yourself and you’ll be a star there mate.
“Also, how you’ve handled everything this season has been a lesson to all young football players, a great example to young and old players.
“And finally, you might not see, but having two lads in the United Academy, you should realise you are an inspiration to them and to the young lads there. Keep doing what you are doing, be yourself.
“Much love, Wazza.” #MUFC
