This morning I tested out the new-ish sidewalks in Hull, MA. This project has greatly improved walking safety on my 4-mile route to the MBTA Ferry. One stretch where I am forced to walk in high speed street, but the majority of the walk now feels much safer. #completestreets
So, what I re-learned today: Seemingly small stretches of road with missing sidewalk can change the users feeling of safety. I will never try this at night. The stretch for which this is not other walking option has well worn tire marks in the grass you have to walk on. ….
First Prefabricated Bridge Unit going in on the @MassDOT acceler-8 project on the Turnpike today. This will be tied in with other PBUs via a concrete closure pour to be ready for traffic on Monday.

I literally can NOT think of a way my vaccine appointment could have been better today. The Hynes site is a vaccination machine: no waiting in lines, no crowding, friendly staff (even the Navy Chief handing out extra masks). Super smooth operation. #covid19MA THANK YOU!
@tinlin_tom@BAFOUND@KHTinlin While not a brain aneurysm, the day I got off meds from my pulmonary aneurysm felt like FREEDOM. It’s a milestone that matter. Congrats my friend!
