Here’s the exact thinking, structure, and leverage behind it.
A short case study🧵...
The other day, I made a post about how paying for coaching can give you speed instead of figuring things out yourself via trial and error.
A lady in the comment said she will rather figure things out via trial and error instead of paying for a coach.
Maybe she had a bad experience with a coach or she was expecting someone that will do all the work for her or whatever...
The truth remains that finding a good coach and paying for their service is worth it 100x.
Are there fake coaches around? Yes, there are bad and fake coaches around just like most things.
E.g. There are bad and fake phones in the market. Will that stop you from getting a phone?
If you get a fake phone, will that stop you from getting another one?
Now apply the same to things that really matter.
Time goes fast and I would rather lose money than lose time.
You are not getting younger.
If you can pay for good coaching, do it.
If you can't, save up money and do it.
And if you still think trial and error is better too, that is okay as long as you have the tenacity to really push through all the trials till you win.
@tolu_oguntayo@Halosznn_ Yeah, I followed the thread.
And as much as I hate to say this... It happens way more than you can imagine.
I've had clients hire me over senior colleagues just because of how good my pitch was.
And no, you don't need to be told. But you're right, though. It's wrong sometimes.
I don't know how I did it but earlier this month, I wrote emails to promote a music concert for a brand.
We sold out the early bird tickets and almost filled the arena.
I clicked on a meta ad today that took me to a TSL that reeked of thick Claude language.
Every sentence and paragraph just told you "Hi, I am Claude"
Of course, I use Claude to write copy too and I don't have an issue with it. But if you are going to get better copy output from Claude, you need to do better and edit the copy.
