The Empire Manufacturing Survey, the first of the major US regional PMIs to report for November, surprised to the upside on Monday at 18.7 versus 5.8 expected and up from 10.7 last month.

We’re still waiting for the rest, but I’ve been flagging in MIT that a pick-up was likely coming after some of the forward-looking survey internals began turning higher a few months back…

This is the first real confirmation that the move is now underway.

This is interesting because with Bitcoin trading at around $91,000, it is pricing in an ISM of roughly 46.3, which means a lot of bad news is already in the price…
