237 students representing 40 nations are attending NSO courses this week. But unlike before, they are now enjoying their coffee and conversations between the lectures indoors, adapting to the change in weather.

4. This week the NSO hosted the Voluntary National Contribution Conference during 20 -21 June 2023. National Military Representatives f were briefed on the NSO’s current operational requirements and opportunities for nations to expand their presence at the NATO School.
1. NATO School Oberammergau has seen some busy weeks packed with events. The following are just some examples of what NATO School staff prepared, attended or executed.
3. NATO School Oberammergau joined the German military on Saturday, 17th June 2023 in celebrating the “Tag der Bundeswehr”. This day of the federal armed forces serves as a bridge between military and society. NATO School Oberammergau presented itself to over 13000 visitors.
2. The NATO Instructor Course delivered in cooperation with NATO was concluded at The Military Women's Training Center in Jordan on Wednesday 14 June 2023, with the participation of 23 servicewomen from the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) and Jordanian Police in the JAF
Change of command at the @BALTDEFCOL, a multinational military college established in #Tartu, #Estonia, by 🇪🇪🇱🇻🇱🇹 in 1999.
As a prime example of Baltic defence cooperation, it offers professional military education to students from #NATO, #EU, and other European countries.

NATO School Oberammergau (NSO) is once again proud to host the annual Combined training Conference (CTC). Over 400 participants from all NATO member states and some selected Partners converged upon the NSO to discuss exercises, objectives and manning for the upcoming exercises.
To commemorate the historic news confirming the arrival of NATO’s news member Finland, members of the NSO Command Group are pictured welcoming 4 Finland students currently attending 4 of the 115 courses run by the NSO annually.

Cooperation between the NSO and the Mountain Warfare (MW) Centre of Excellence strengthens the Alliance.
The Commandant of the NSO and the Director of the MW signed a Letter of Intent and agreed to develop cooperation mechanisms and expert exchanges.

The latest 70th Anniversary celebration saw staff from 8 of the 22 nations organise a fantastic Winterfest.
The nations came together to provide a magnificent selection of food and drink from their own countries.
Plus, the NSO Band 'Stay Tuned' had their first outing.

As part of the "70th Anniversary celebrations” staff and family members of the NSO took part in a cross-country skiing event.
Instead of the targeted 70 km, the team achieved a huge 225 km- great success!

Congratulations to TSgt Robbi Wilson who successfully graduated from the Non-Commissioned Officer Academy at Kapaun Air Station.
During a six weeks training he was able to improve his leadership and management skills.
