@SawyerMerritt@Starlink I agree with him. A service where you always need a clear sky only makes sense in remote areas, so it is a good complementary service.
In city areas, we are always inside buildings, and 5G makes more sense than Starlink.
@Shinzo2022 Rivian is very interesting, but I assume it would be difficult for them to expand into other regions. They'd have to invest heavily in factories, and they're not nearly as well-known globally as Tesla.
I have a hard time seeing them doing well in the international market.
@an0ym0u5@liorsela Literally, if we're talking personal use, what other options in the US do we have that are not Teslas? None. Lucid and Rivian are not there yet.
@mikepat711 It's level 2, though. I have used it and I like it, but it needs to get a level 3 license for consumers. At that point we can say autonomy is solved since it would mean we can eat or do whatever. We are just passengers at that point by law.
@DevinOlsenn Whatever this is, it's very cool, though. Imagine one of your tires giving out on your way home and you can still drive this thing to the auto shop.
Also, BYD can drive itself in China as well.
@realdavidonline Tesla will be okay. They'll sell fewer cars, yes, but they won't die completely.
Good to see competition anyway. I believe that also contributed to why Tesla dropped the Model 3 price in Canada.
Also, Tesla FSD should be much better than BYD in Canada since it has more data.
@BrianChung37309@SawyerMerritt Lucid produces very good cars but struggles to scale. I hope that will change soon. I really want to see more US car companies survive.
@RomainHedouin I mean, letโs say itโs a 25-minute drive. Thatโs like watching 1โ2 YouTube videos with surround sound. I would pick the one with more options rather than fewer options.
@librab103 And they should lower the price when the new gen arrives. In the Bay Area, it's like 2x Uber. I don't think Waymo is meant to be a luxury segment.
@librab103 Waymo is out there killing it! And the new generation also uses fewer sensors and costs less for the car as well. This should make them become profitable faster.
@eggsman4567@kareemdsg1@Mdso_Va1 People said that Yuji is much stronger than Sukuna because of how he one-shot Mahito. However, he has not displayed that strength yet, since Sukuna could likely one-shot Mahito as well. This is based on how Mahito did not want to mess with Sukuna, even at three fingers.
@JONNY_RUBBER@Automoto415792 If the cost of a ride in a CyberCab is $5 and a Waymo is $15, which one would a single person choose?
It's all about pricing that matxh with u get.
