You work in a rural medical practice and would like to complete a Diploma of Nursing online in your own time. But cant do placement at your practice where Doctors and RNs could supervise you, instead a 10wk stint interstate. No wonder there is a shortage in healthcare staff.

@energy2power Thanks Scott will do. The issue is I can not leave the practice short staffed for 10 weeks or my elderly parents. Flexibility is needed for those wanting to gain qualifications to assist their communities

If only I could live stream our rural medical practice for the day to the Parliament, and make them watch the entire day from when the door opens. I wonder if they would have more respect and understanding for the bloody good people who go above and beyond every minute of the day

Can someone please explain how #qprc can take over 5 months to approve a DA for a pergola and carport. So much for kick starting the economy. Obviously if you are a developer needing DA approvals in Googong or Jerrabomberra you get preference. #mulloon

@BurdackMark @CroakeyNews I would like to hope it will make a difference, but I feel it will just create more pen pushing jobs. What needs to happen is consultation with each town. Find out what the challenges are for that particular community and fund what they need.
