1,120 days and counting—Taliban’s Afghanistan holds the title of the only country where girls’ education is illegal Over three years of stolen futures, silenced dreams, and suppressed potential. #LetHerLearn
In a heroic move, Gisele Pelicot fought to make public the videos of her unconscious rapes at the hands of over 50 men and won. She wanted the public “to look rape straight in the eyes.” Shame, she said, must change sides —from the victims to the perpetrators.
Police found more than 20,000 videos and photographs of Gisele drugged and being raped by various men on her husband’s devices in a folder titled “Abuse.”
On Friday, the judge complied with Gisele’s demand and showed the evidence “necessary for the manifestation of the truth.”
12 rape videos and 10 photos were shown over the courtroom’s three flat screens and projected into the overflow room for members of the public while the perpetrators in the videos sat in shame watching their own despicable criminal acts being exposed.

World Occupational Therapy Day 2024 is approaching. A great way to promote our theme “Occupational Therapy for All” is to use the dedicated logo. You can download the logo in a variety of languages from the WFOT website https://t.co/ZC7wA4ANtb. #WorldOTDay
Best get a move on and build some more houses then, as I'm pretty sure many homeless folk would prefer a home to a tent. In the meantime I guess they'll just have to wait without shelter eh?

This headline has troubled me over night. How can we begin to trust #DWP ? This approach is counterproductive, callous and so very harmful. @alanmilburn1958 's report is being promoted by @leicesterliz as a good cop and here he plays the bad cop.
"The UK government should also investigate the failures of children’s services “to address the barriers and disadvantages Roma people experience during child protection cases”
Nobody trusts services anymore and I'm not surprised.
