The leaves are dropping. Your trash shouldn’t. 🍂🐿️
The squirrels have enough to gather without adding your snack wrappers to the list. 😂
Enjoy the fall colors, pack out what you pack in, and leave the trail beautiful for whoever comes next—paws included.
Nature Talks Back™
A childhood love of swallows. A little watercolor unpredictability. And one word: connection. 🐦🎨
Meet Luba Kholov, the New York–based watercolor artist behind our newest collection, Birds in Conversation.
Her birds invite us to pause and notice—their personalities, their interactions, and the small moments of nature happening around us every day.
Our newest blog shares Luba’s story, what inspired the collection, and the painting that helped her learn to trust her watercolor.
We’re happy to welcome her to the Nature Talks Back™ family. 💚

Today, we honor Indigenous Peoples’ Day.
We recognize and celebrate Indigenous peoples, cultures, communities, and the generations of knowledge and connection to the lands and waters we all share.
At Nature Talks Back™, today is an opportunity to listen, learn, and show respect for the people who have cared for these places for generations — and who continue to do so today.
With respect, today and always. 💚

What if animals could talk?
That simple question helped spark Nature Talks Back™.
From the beginning, I’ve believed conservation conversations don’t always have to start by telling people what they’re doing wrong. Sometimes a fox with an attitude can make someone smile. 🦊
A smile can make them look a little closer.
And looking closer can open the door to a conversation.
That idea is at the heart of my newest article for Influential Women; Conservation Can Start with a Smile. @influentialw
I share why I believe humor and empathy can have a place in conservation—and why creating something approachable can sometimes be a powerful first step toward getting people to care.
Nature Talks Back™ started with a question: What if animals could talk?
I’m building it around another one:
What might happen if a smile opened the door to a conversation about conservation?

Our newest blog is here! 🌿🦊 “For the Love of the Wild: Why We Partnered With Leave No Trace.” Link in comments! 👇
The places we go to breathe, explore, and find a little peace are also the places animals call home.
That’s why Nature Talks Back™ is proud to be an official Leave No Trace partner. Through education and practical guidance, Leave No Trace helps us make thoughtful choices that protect the outdoors—from packing out our trash to giving wildlife space.
We give back 10% of sales from our Leave No Trace collection, after fees, to support their work. 💚

To everyone who has supported Nature Talks Back™ so far — thank you. 💚
We wanted our thank-you to be more than just words.
So along with a note from the wild, we’re sending a compostable bag with one simple ask:
Take it on your next walk, hike, or adventure.
Pick up what doesn’t belong.
Leave that place a little better than you found it.
Then share your cleanup and tag us. Maybe your small action inspires someone else to do the same.
Real action. Real impact.
Because giving animals and nature a voice means more than talking about it.
It means showing them we’re listening. 🌎
