It's been raining here just about nonstop since the start of September. No sign of any migrants yet. To pass the time I have been sorting out my media and I came across some video clips I hadn't used. I just posted this short on my YouTube channel using a couple of clips of the Freckle-breasted Woodpecker pair that nest in my garden.

@javajunco Left the Earth?๐Just joking, no just find it hard to get good pics since I had heart surgery. Made me a bit shaky when hold a heavy camera. Otherwise apart from a bit of A -Fib I'm fine for an old guy!
@DrAmarMOH Yes totally agree. My bovine valve is doing fine just A-fib from time to time. At least with my A-fib the heart doesn't go crazy fast and is pain free. Mind you that might be because of Beta-blockers.......least said about them as possible.๐๐
Just a quick hello from me. Yes I am still alive and kicking approaching the 2nd anniversary of my Aortic valve replacement surgery.
Since my valve replacement I find it difficult to hold my 7D2 and 400mm steady so I have been concentrating of videos and other stuff. Still love the birds just a little limited in what I can shot.(Please don't mention tripods)
Got lucky this morning with this in flight Black Bittern(not too shaky).
@NeilCairns19585 Cheers Neil. I think I physically mended within about 3 months of the ops. It's just left me with a few things I wasn't expecting but I am certainly not moaning.....just readjusting.๐๐
@DrAmarMOH Thanks Amar. Your thoughts appreciated. The valve job was great bit of engineering by my surgeon but the approximal A-fib I have since developed is a nuisance(or rather the meds are). Still 78 in December so shouldn't complain.
