Minister @Shiyamaldives , participated in the opening ceremony of the Maldives Financial Expo 2026, inaugurated this morning by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu at Hulhumalé Central Park.

Organised by the Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA), the expo is held under the theme "Empowering Sustainable Futures: Inclusion, Innovation, and Intelligence", bringing together key stakeholders from across the country's financial sector to promote innovation, financial inclusion, and sustainable economic development.

ވަޒީރު އަޙްމަދު ޝިޔާމް، ފ.ދަރަނބޫދޫ ކައުންސިލާ ބައްދަލުކުރެއްވުން.

The SAARC Regional Consultation Meeting on Commercially Important Marine Fin Fishes brought together delegates from SAARC Member States to exchange knowledge, discuss emerging challenges and opportunities, and strengthen regional cooperation for the sustainable management and development of commercially important marine fin fishes.

State Minister Mohamed Muththalib delivered the opening remarks, welcoming delegates to the Maldives and highlighting the importance of regional collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovative approaches to ensure that marine resources continue to support food security, sustainable livelihoods, and economic prosperity across the region.
