जंतर-मंतर पर रिपोर्टिंग के दौरान महिला पत्रकारों ने पुलिसकर्मियों पर यौन उत्पीड़न का आरोप लगाया है। दर्जनों पत्रकारों के प्रदर्शन के बावजूद न FIR दर्ज की गई, न ही कोई ठोस कार्रवाई हुई। शांतिपूर्ण प्रदर्शन कर रही महिलाओं का भी आरोप है कि पुलिस उनके साथ बहुत अभद्र तरीके से पेश आ रही है।

जिस पुलिस का काम सुरक्षा देना है, उससे ही महिलाएं खतरा महसूस कर रही हैं। कॉलेज की छात्राओं से लेकर पत्रकार तक - हर जगह महिलाएं असुरक्षा का सामना कर रही हैं। @narendramodi जी, @AmitShah जी, क्या महिलाओं के साथ ये बर्ताव उचित है? अगर नहीं तो आप इसका संज्ञान क्यों नहीं लेते?

पुणे में 'छात्रों की गूँज' के दौरान महाराष्ट्र के छात्रों ने अपनी पूरी समस्या मेरे सामने रखी थी - पेपर लीक, रुकी भर्तियाँ, महँगी पढ़ाई, बदहाल हॉस्टल, ज़हर जैसा खाना, और DBT में धोखाधड़ी।

मैंने मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस से कहा था - MPSC में सुधार कीजिए, परीक्षा व्यवस्था पारदर्शी बनाइए, इन बच्चों की सुनिए।

कुछ नहीं हुआ। इसीलिए आज वही छात्र पुणे में सत्याग्रह पर बैठे हैं।

उनकी मांगे साफ़ हैं:
→ MPSC अध्यक्ष इस्तीफ़ा दें, और उनकी जगह एक ईमानदार, योग्य अधिकारी आए
→ 70,000+ ख़ाली सरकारी पद तुरंत भरे जाएं

ये मांगे नाजायज़ नहीं हैं। इन पर कार्रवाई चाहिए - आश्वासन नहीं।

महाराष्ट्र स्पर्धा परीक्षा समन्वय समिति ने अपना आंदोलन 'सत्याग्रह' पर दर्ज किया।

युवा कांग्रेस और NSUI इस आंदोलन के साथ लगातार खड़े थे - उनसे कहा है कि छात्रों की मांगे पूरी होने तक उनके साथ कंधे से कंधा मिला कर लड़ते रहना। मैं ये मुद्दा महाराष्ट्र सरकार के सामने फिर से उठाकर इसके स्थायी समाधान की मांग करूंगा।

जो संस्था छात्रों का भविष्य तय करती है, उस पर क़ब्ज़ा कर लिया गया है। हम इसे ऐसे ही नहीं चलने देंगे।

आज गांधी जयंती है।

और आज ही, हज़ारों नौजवान वोट चोरी के ख़िलाफ़ सड़कों पर हैं - शांतिपूर्वक, बिना हिंसा के, अपने संवैधानिक अधिकार का इस्तेमाल करते हुए।

पूरा देश वोट चोरी के खिलाफ़ गुस्से में है - मगर फिर भी BJP-EC की बेशर्मी देखिए कैसे खुलेआम वही किए जा रहे हैं।

कर्नाटक के बेलगावी में एक झटके में लगभग 15 हजार वोटरों के नाम मिटाने की साजिश चल रही थी।

सिर्फ़ तीन दिनों - 22, 23 और 24 सितंबर - में इतने नाम वोटर लिस्ट से हटाने के लिए Form 7 की बाढ़ आ गई।

और निशाने पर कौन? मुसलमान, SC, ST और OBC। क्योंकि इनमें से ज़्यादातर लोग BJP के खिलाफ वोट डालते हैं।

मैंने वोट चोरी के इस तरीके का पहले ही पर्दाफाश किया था - Centralized तरीके से software के जरिए वोट delete किए जाते हैं। "चुनिंदा" लोगों के खिलाफ BJP और EC के लोगों द्वारा मिलकर automated तरीके से थोक में Form 7 भरे जाते हैं - और देखते ही देखते लाखों वोटर लिस्ट से गायब हो जाते हैं। और ये सब ऊपर से नियंत्रित किया जाता है।

कर्नाटक कांग्रेस के नेता इस वक्त कर्नाटक CEO के दफ़्तर में इसके दोषियों के ख़िलाफ़ FIR की मांग कर रहे हैं। CEO इस FIR से मना क्यों कर रहे हैं?

इस तरह से मोदी, शाह और ज्ञानेश मिल कर SIR के ज़रिए लोकतंत्र को खत्म कर रहे हैं। ये देशद्रोह है।

इसलिए मैं कह रहा हूं ज्ञानेश कुमार को इस्तीफा दे कर approver बन जाना चाहिए, और मोदी शाह के खिलाफ जांच होनी चाहिए।

Who at the ECI ordered Tata Consultancy Services to make that change?

Who at TCS signed off on it? And were they pressured into doing it?

मोदी जी सामाजिक न्याय और बराबरी के ख़िलाफ़ हैं। उनका पूरा सिस्टम शिक्षा से नफ़रत करता है, क्योंकि वे नहीं चाहते कि छात्र सोचें या सवाल पूछें।

एक गुमनाम ट्वीट में बाबासाहेब अंबेडकर की "जाति का विनाश", ज्योतिबा फुले की "गुलामगिरी" जैसी कई ज़रूरी किताबों को युवाओं के दिमाग़ में "ज़हर" भरने वाला बताया गया।

अगले ही दिन, रविवार को, PMO के निर्देश पर शिक्षा मंत्रालय ने सभी केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालयों से सिलेबस की जानकारी माँगी, और पूछा कि इन कोर्स में कितने छात्र पढ़ रहे हैं।

बेहद चौंकाने वाली बात है कि युवाओं के पेपर लीक, बेरोज़गारी और सुरक्षा के सवालों पर चुप रहने वाले प्रधानमंत्री, इंटरनेट ट्रोल्स के इशारे पर फ़ौरन काम करते हैं।

INDIA is united against Vote Chori!

Election after election, Gyanesh Kumar rigged elections and handed states on a platter to the BJP. Just as the Congress has resolved to take our fight to the finish against Gyanesh Kumar - so is the INDIA bloc determined to make this a nationwide mass movement to protect our democracy.

Our non-negotiable demands are:
1. Gyanesh Kumar's immediate removal
2. ⁠Use of pre-SIR electoral rolls for all future elections
3. ⁠Use of ballot papers, not EVMs
4. ⁠An effective appeals mechanism for all those excluded from the voter rolls, and protection for genuine voters from exclusion due to technical/administrative reasons

The entire opposition is united in this fight, and we have a strong action plan:
1. Save Democracy marches will be held in every district from Oct 2-8
2. ⁠All Opposition MPs will march to the ECI Headquarters on Oct 6
3. ⁠In the 2nd week of October, we will also meet the President with our demands
4. ⁠All across India, we will hold 5 Mega Rallies
5. ⁠A massive Rally will be held on November 1st in Delhi
6. ⁠We will appeal for early resolution of all pending cases in the Supreme Court pertaining to SIR exclusions and ECI-related matters

Ours is way beyond a regular political alliance, we are together to save our Constitution and the inalienable right to decide our country's fate.

यमुना किनारे बेला एस्टेट में 728 लोग रहते हैं। SIR के बाद वोटर लिस्ट में सिर्फ़ एक नाम बचा - बाकी 727 नाम काट दिए गए।

ये लोग दशकों से यहाँ रह रहे हैं। 2024 के लोकसभा चुनाव और 2025 के दिल्ली चुनावों में वोट डाल चुके हैं। 2023 में इनके घर तोड़ दिए गए थे - पर ये कहीं नहीं गए, यहीं हैं।

आज मैं इनकी झुग्गी में गया और सीधे इन्हीं से सुना कि चुनाव आयोग ने इनके साथ क्या किया है।

SDM से फ़ोन पर मैंने यही कहा - मकान होने या न होने का वोट के अधिकार से कोई रिश्ता नहीं है। ख़ुद CEC ज्ञानेश कुमार कह चुके हैं कि "हाउस नंबर 0" बेघरों के लिए है। फिर भी 727 लोगों का नाम काट दिया गया।

यह SIR नहीं - यह वोट चोरी का तरीक़ा है। जिनके पास पहले ही सबसे कम है, उनसे उनकी इकलौती ताक़त छीनी जा रही है।

ज्ञानेश कुमार तो जाएँगे। पर जिस सिस्टम ने उनसे यह करवाया, उसका हिसाब भी होगा।

ये लोग ऐसा इसलिए करते हैं क्योंकि इन्हें अब ये डर ही नहीं कि चुनाव इन्हें हटा सकता है। वोट चोरी यही ख़रीदती है - सिर्फ़ नतीजा नहीं, उसके बाद आने वाला अहंकार भी।

It was an honour to receive the CK Govindan Nair Award, at the hands of Sh. Tushar Gandhi ji in Kozhikode today. Tushar ji has been a bold voice against the fascist forces of today, and has been effectively taking Bapu’s ideological legacy forward.

CKG was a staunch Gandhian and Nehruvian leader who held the Congress flag high in Kerala, with his commitment to the values of the independence movement.

He made great sacrifices in the battle against the British, and worked tirelessly for the farmers and workers of the state.

He was among the pantheon of towering leaders who inspired me in my journey in public life.

This award is a moment of deep gratitude for me, and I wish to reiterate my lifelong commitment to the party and its mission.
