@Ryanbouche86003 @sacha_coward @TheAndrewNadeau Mate, as an aside, in the UK PhDs predate medical doctors. This is an extremely old system. More pertinently, I’m a humanities PhD married to a medical doctor. Can assure you that a) medics don’t have an issue with it and b) nobody asks if there’s a Dickens expert on the plane.

@ineffablexhoe I can make this even worse: the cropped trousers and slippers Fake Rashid wears. In the books Marius notoriously (it’s one line but … a notorious one) didn’t let the apprentices in his house wear boots while he was awake bc he liked to look at their ankles. 🙃🙃🙃

@Hellmark @speakoutsister It turned out I believe that some schools did have cat litter and a bucket in the classroom supply closet. It was part of their active shooter kit so if everyone was barricaded in the classroom for many hours hiding from a shooter, kids would have a way of going to the loo. 😔
