@BBCBreakfast just watching the piece with @3dadswalking I completely agree, my son lost a friend to suicide in year 8. It was incredibly hard for that group of friends to deal with. More needs to be done to support young people who are struggling with their mental health
The way we vote is changing. On Thursday 4 May, you’ll need to bring photo ID when you go to the polling station. Need a reminder? 𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘 ❤️ and we’ll send you a reminder to bring yours.
I’m cautiously optimistic the NHS Staff Council will accept our fair & reasonable pay offer for nurses, ambulance crews & other NHS workers.
@theRCN’s strike starting tonight is regrettable.
Speaking to @ITN👇
If you're an MP who's had a 32% pay rise since 2010, and have your meals subsidised by the taxpayer, you're in no position to lecture a nurse who, since 2010, earns £5,000 less in real-terms about pay restraint. There's plenty of money; it's just going to the wrong places.
Support your striking nurses ❤️
Send a message to @SteveBarclay that this strike, our voice, our democratic right, is beyond pay.
We are fighting for safe, quality and timely care. It won’t happen if we cannot hold onto nurses.
Stand with us. It’s your NHS. #RCNStrike#nhs
Too many things happening in my little brain lately including too many changes at work all at once for my mental health to handle. Just #tired in every way possible right now
Today it has been reported that during our first round of action in England mortality rate was 11.1% above the 5 year average.
What they haven’t reported was that in Wales, where no strike action took place, mortality rate was 14% above the 5 year average. 1/3
Had an excellent day looking at the family tree-found a grandmother (I can't remember how many greats should be in front of that) who has had me stumped for a while. Eventually found her, spelling errors and mistaken surname lead me astray
