@HPbasketball@MisterSports00 As someone holding a Caruso WCF MVP ticket, I’d love for you to be right but my honest opinion is that would be so ridiculous
@HaliReturns2026@bblacktacularr@jasonrmcintyre They went 4-23 post all star break including going 0-2 against the Wizards. Yes, they won a couple games down the stretch, after losing for a month straight.
@GoCers25@jasonrmcintyre I agree, it is simple. They put out less competitive lineups down the stretch hoping to lose and maybe you see a 2-way contract guy that you want to keep around for your rotation next season. It makes complete sense to do that when your goal is to lose games. Very simple indeed
@HaliReturns2026@bblacktacularr@jasonrmcintyre You think I’m saying they did something wrong, but I’m not. They did what they were incentivized to do. My point is they could’ve won more if they wanted to. If the relegation zone was in place at the time, they would’ve put out more competitive lineups down the stretch
@HaliReturns2026@bblacktacularr@jasonrmcintyre There are always options. A savvy front office decided the best path forward was to put out a lesser competitive team. I don’t blame them for doing it, especially after making the Zubac trade, but to say they tried their hardest to win games would be disingenuous
@bornhoosier83@jasonrmcintyre The original post talks about the Spurs like they were awful and would have been penalized if the new rules were in effect at the time, which simply is not the case. Whether or not you think the lottery is rigged is irrelevant here
