Reporter: "Your Royal Highness, U.S. intelligence concluded that you orchestrated the brutal murder of a journalist. 9/11 families are furious that you are here in the Oval Office..."
Trump: "Who are you with?"
Reporter: "I'm with ABC News."
Trump: "Fake news…As far as this gentleman is concerned, he's done a phenomenal job. You're mentioning someone who was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen."
Have you noticed a new line of butter appearing on Woolworths shelves lately? Don’t be fooled, it’s not Australian. Woolworths has started stocking American-made butter, right alongside local brands.
To make matters worse, it’s wrapped in green and gold packaging, designed to look Australian. It’s a slap in the face to our hardworking dairy farmers who produce some of the best butter in the world. Instead, this imported product, pale, bland, and far from our standards, is being dressed up to mislead shoppers.
This kind of marketing doesn’t just undermine Australian dairy, it deceives consumers and cheapens our local industry. Australians deserve honesty on our supermarket shelves.
We’re calling on Woolworths to stop misleading customers and undercutting Australian farmers. Shoppers should be able to make informed choices, not be tricked by imported products disguised in Aussie colours. Support local. Support Australian dairy.
@JEChalmers Bulk billing incentives without increasing the rebate means doctors are all forced to do 6 minute medicine, which means no mental or preventative health and no chronics.
It means lots of scripts, which suits the @PharmGuildAus (6th largest donor) just fine
@RACGP@RACGPPresident
@dgcpol@jason_king72@mattjcan I have.
I used to be a member, ran booths, organised campaigns, went to fund-raisers... no more.
Anyone want to run as a Teal in Bonner?
@marine99520@rationalaussie@Mon4Kooyong We could cut global emissions by several times our total emissions by exporting steel made here coked with green hydrogen.
Instead of sending red dirt to China, if we made the steel here, moved up the value chain and employed more people we would all win, except 🇨🇳 of course
@docdave53@QLDCountryGP@ama_qld Since 75 we've had two generations that have had health education free and pretty much housing too by today's standards... they then decided 20 years later that subsequent generations should have to pay for those things...
Truth from @ama_qld president Prof Perry today - "Australians don't want to pay more tax, but they want to go and see a doctor for free, and the rebates are now 1/3 what they were in real terms from 28 years ago" #healthcare. I don't think we need more tax; just better priorities
Ha.
It gets worse.
@AustralianLabor actually got the PHARMACY GUILD to SPEAK about a policy that has literally NOTHING to do with them.
I knew @PharmGuildAus was committed to the pharmacists-can-be-GPs cosplay but F-me that's embarrassing.
@QLDLabor

Hey @QLDLabor & @nitagreenqld
I know QLD pollies are firmly under the thumb of the pharmacy guild (they're a top 10 political donor in Aus after all),
but why on earth is the pharmacy guild president at an announcement about general practice, and not...you know...a GP?
Odd.
@GandP007@AlboMP No, this one actually means they will bulk bill all, they get an extra incentive per appointment.
However as per appointment, it only works out financially for 6-10min appts, any longer and the incentive isnt enough.
It's not based on length of visit or complexity
@1560Kc@AlboMP They trusted the govt in the 80s when Bulk Billing was brought in, trusted thst it would cover their costs and keep up with inflation, but instead the rebate basically flatlined
Fool me once...
