By striking the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, one of the greatest holy sites of Christianity, Putin has forever put his name on the list of history’s worst barbarians.

He should be damned for centuries. And he will lose this war.

From the Horde in the 13th century to the Nazis and Bolsheviks in the 20th century, Kyiv’s sacred monasteries have suffered numerous barbarically attacks.

Now we are dealing with Russian terrorists who have already outmatched ISIS in their crimes against cultural heritage. Only Russian scum who have nothing sacred can deliberately damage the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, a unique UNESCO heritage site under special protection.

We will be urgently initiating all relevant procedures within UNESCO and all other international mechanisms, demanding immediate and adequate responses to this state barbarism.

We expect strong reactions by international institutions and capitals. No vague words, silence, or weak steps. We need action now to stop Russian barbarism.

Те, що відбулося у Верховній Раді – акт внутрішньої підривної діяльності в умовах війни.

Вже зараз бачу тотальне неприйняття суспільством цієї ініціативи. Військові, волонтери, громадські діячі, абсолютна більшість обурена діями нардепів.
Таке рішення ВР значно деморалізує людей та створює підґрунтя для внутрішнього розбрату і протистояння. Підриває довіру до державних інституцій.

Під час війни вистояти можна лише обʼєднуючись. Країна, у якій влада втрачає підтримку громадян, не може ефективно протистояти агресору. Це аксіома.
Це подарунок Москві, кращий за будь-які ІПСО разом узяті.

Ще не все втрачено. Президент може ветувати або не підписати законопроєкт.
Сподіваюсь на це.

НАБУ та САП мають бути незалежними інституціями.

Right now, in many regions, you can literally hear what Russia truly needs. Around 40 "Shahed" drones are in our skies, and air defense is active.

Unfortunately, there have been hits, specifically on civilian infrastructure. A direct hit by a "Shahed" drone on a hospital in Sumy, strikes on cities in the Donetsk region, and attack drones currently in the skies over the Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Chernihiv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, and Cherkasy regions.

It is these types of nighttime attacks by Russia that destroy our energy sector, our infrastructure, and the normal life of Ukrainians. And the fact that this night is no exception shows that the pressure on Russia must continue for the sake of peace.

Today, Putin effectively rejected the proposal for a full ceasefire. It would be right for the world to respond by rejecting any attempts by Putin to prolong the war.

Sanctions against Russia. Assistance to Ukraine. Strengthening allies in the free world and working toward security guarantees. And only a real cessation of strikes on civilian infrastructure by Russia, as proof of its willingness to end this war, can bring peace closer.
