Today, our new Year 1 students officially concluded their three-week Foundation Program, which has equipped them with vital skills in Soft Skills and Career Development (SCAD) and Communicative English. Throughout the program, students strengthened their communication and teamwork abilities while building the essential competencies needed for both academic excellence and future career success.
As we approach the conclusion of the induction and orientation week tomorrow, Yves Marie Aimé Kabayiza (Equity Bank) and Maximilien Byiringiro (Shema Power Lake Kivu) today empowered our new students with insights on financial literacy-saving, smart investment, and self-reliance, as well as the role of industry in academia, including market requirements, workplace skills and attitudes, job opportunities, and innovation engagement, through their respective sessions.
Today, Mr. Joseph Semafara, the Founder and CEO of SOLVIT AFRICA, together with his team, visited us. @SOLVIT_AFRICA is an organization that equips young professionals with practical digital and technology skills to enhance their employability. The purpose of their visit was to explore potential collaboration that would enable our students and graduates to benefit from their programs.

We proudly congratulate Dr. Nishimwe Gaudence, our Lecturer in the Agricultural Engineering Department, for receiving a research grant from the National Council for Science and Technology (NCST) for her project: “AI and IoT-Enhanced Dairy Farming in Rwanda and Malawi: Smart Cooling, Spoilage Prediction, Prevention, and Data-Driven Logistics.”
Her work was recognized today during the Rwanda Innovation Survey 2022–2024, at Kigali Convention Centre.

Today, RP-Musanze College joined Nkotsi Sector in a monthly Community Work (Umuganda) activity held in Bikara Cell, Kabaya Village. During this initiative, the house of Mr. Nimugire Juvenal, a vulnerable resident, was rehabilitated. Following the Umuganda, RP-Musanze College extended additional support by covering community-based health insurance (Mutuelle de Santé) for 300 vulnerable residents of Nkotsi Sector, as part of its commitment to promoting public health and social welfare.
RP-Musanze College welcomed a team of Chinese medical professionals from Masaka District Hospital for Emergency First Aid training. Students and staff also benefited from free medical consultations using chinese traditional medicine techniques.

A team from the U.S. Embassy in Rwanda visited RCA to introduce students to potential opportunities in U.S. higher learning institutions. RCA alumnus Ishimwe Gervais, currently at Columbia University, joined the event to share his personal experience with U.S. education.
