@temsbaby Figures such as Oshun and Yemoja are important components of our rich cultural tapestry. Grasping the essence of our origins, history, and values is crucial for moulding our sense of self and our aspirations for the future.
@temsbaby Once we realised that we could name at least 20 deities from Greek, Roman, and Egyptian mythological pantheons but struggled to come up with the names of five Yoruba Orishas, we committed ourselves to learning more.
@temsbaby African Traditional Religion and Mythology are delicate, divisive subjects for many. This is why we initially harboured reservations about launching a podcast centred around these themes. Hence, the name “No Be Juju!”
