Akhanda 2 - Where Reviewers Failed, and the Audience Won

Despite the massive negative backlash from reviewers who fail to grasp the mass audience pulse, any other film would have crashed within 14 hours. But, even after 14 days, Akhanda2 continues to register respectable collections. Its surprise performance is Hyderabad City

With 1.41 million tickets sold 🔥🔥 on BookMyShow (higher than Daaku Maharaj), the film delivered fantastic business in all regions during the first three days. Even on Day 14, Hyderabad alone is running 25 shows with 70 - 80% occupancy. On BMS, Akhanda2 continues to trend daily, and in the USA it is closing in on the $1 million mark.

It may not be a record-breaker or a profit machine due to the high acquisition prices, but given the current market potential of senior heroes, the film has put up a reasonable good business performance.

Despite minimal promotion both before and after release, the film has overcome the odds - Balakrishna’s electrifying performance as Aghora and Boyapati’s mass-appeal blocks, turning Akhanda 2 into an above average to Hit (for senior heroes league)

In Hindi, Akhanda2 could not even recover print publicity cost ended as a disaster.

If all region ROI alone were the yardstick, many so - called blockbusters would be labeled losses in several pockets.
