The theme of the event is ‘25 years of making data work for nature’, which forms part of the NBN Trust's 25th anniversary celebrations.🥳
With a broad range of speakers from across the Network and beyond, they have presentations from BBC, Bristol Environmental Records Centre, Centre for Environmental Data and Recording (CEDaR), Defra, GBIF, Natural England, Natural History Museum, NBN Trust, RSPB, The Rockpool Project, UKCEH, UKCEH Biological Records Centre and University of Exeter (RENEW Biodiversity Programme).
This will also be the first opportunity to meet the NBN Trust’s new CEO, Dr Gareth Thomas, who will be sharing his thoughts on a vision for the future, as well as joining the BBC’s Head of Nature, Tom Gray, in a discussion about “Engaging the widest audience for nature”.
