It has come to the attention of the Executive Board that a former candidate for NCTARS Elected Office has made inflammatory statements regarding our organization and leadership. Allow us to be clear:
We respect every member’s right to their personal convictions and appreciate the time and energy each candidate brings to our movement. The North Carolina Teenage Republicans remain focused on building a strong, unified team of young conservatives committed to the future of our party and our country. We look forward to continuing that work with new leadership elected -by acclamation- at our upcoming convention.
The twin brother of the guy who kidnapped Captain Philipe, Omar Fateh, is running for Minneapolis mayor. He wants to raise the minimum wage by over $4, freeze rent, ‘Trump-proof’ the city, and defund the police.
Sen. Tillis has announced his decision to not seek re-election and we wish him well in his retirement from public service. As we move forward into the midterms, we will hold this seat for Republicans in 2026 and continue to deliver on President Trump's America First priorities.
📣 Calling all NC Teenage Republicans!

It has been over a day since Julie Von Haefen posted a picture depicting the execution of the President and not a single NC House Democrat has condemned her actions.
Their silence speaks volumes. #ncpol#ResignNow
I don’t need an attorney to tell you that Article II Section 20 of the NC Constitution allows members to be expelled for “disorderly conduct” by a 2/3 majority. Start whipping votes.
On the same weekend that a gunman in Minnesota targeted state lawmakers in an act of political violence, and after two attempted assassinations of President Trump within the past year, Representative von Haefen (D-Wake) shared an image of a “protest sign” that glorifies violence against her political opponents-including President Donald Trump.
Her disgraceful behavior fails to meet the standards expected from House members and sets a dangerous precedent in an already volatile political climate.
I am examining next steps with our legislative attorneys to ensure this behavior does not continue.
I am appalled and heartbroken by the tragic and senseless acts of political violence in Minnesota today. There is no place for these acts in the United States.
The people of Minnesota are in my thoughts and prayers.
