God is good.

This past weekend reminded us of that in a way that’s hard to even put into words.

One of our 12U boys lost his dad on Easter.
There are no easy words for something like that.
No playbook.
No way to make sense of it.

But this game… this team… this brotherhood… it shows up.

This weekend at the #PerfectGame tournament at DPC, those boys didn’t just play baseball — they played for something bigger.

They fought.
They stayed together.
They lifted each other.
They carried each other.

And they walked away as Silver Bracket Champions.

Not because everything is perfect.
Not because life is easy.
But because God is still moving — even in the middle of heartbreak.

Sometimes His goodness looks like a win.
Sometimes it looks like strength when there shouldn’t be any left.
Sometimes it looks like a group of 12-year-old boys wrapping their arms around a teammate and refusing to let him walk alone.

This is why we do this.

More than baseball.
More than trophies.
We’re building young men who know how to show up for each other — on the field and in life.

Proud of these boys.

It was a heck of a weekend of baseball in memory of a really good man.
