This character supports security by rendering sensitive information unreadable to unauthorized parties. Encryption ensures that even if data is intercepted during transmission or stolen from storage, its contents remain secret and unusable.
This threat compromises security by exploiting credentials or access that should have been revoked upon departure from a company. He works against organizational security by utilizing outdated access rights to steal or damage internal data.
