@cjsnowdon Peak Winter mortality weeks, pre-Covid: 2017 - week ending Jan 12th & week ending Jan 19th; 2018 - w/e Jan 11th & w/e Jan 18th; 2019 - w/e Jan 11th & w/e Jan 18th. Looks like peak winter mortality always occurs during the same weeks, including during the current Covid pandemic.

@CazB52 @julianHjessop @JohnScotting @TheConWom Deaths peaked then began declining too soon for lockdown to have been the cause. I believe that has been the case for all three national lockdowns. Belarus did even fewer interventions than Sweden, death curve same shape as per lockdown countries.
