NCJW is a 132-year-old Jewish feminist civil rights organization working for the full rights of women, children, and families in the United States and Israel.
Mifepristone access is headed back to the Supreme Court, and so are we ⚖️
Today, NCJW led 50+ faith organizations in an amicus brief to the Supreme Court to say: protecting religious freedom means preserving access to medication abortion — and that includes mifepristone.
Join us for a timely and essential conversation on Monday, July 6 at 12 pm ET with Dahlia Lithwick, award-winning legal journalist, longtime Supreme Court correspondent for Slate, and host of the acclaimed Amicus podcast.

On the anniversary of the landmark ruling in Griswold v. Connecticut — establishing the right to contraception for married couples — know this: privacy and reproductive rights go hand in hand.
These rights face renewed threats, and NCJW remains committed to defending them.
During Pride Month, we make space to honor the Jewish queer voices who inspire us. This week, we're celebrating King Princess — queer Jewish pop royalty who built a devoted following simply by showing up fully and unapologetically. 👑
Shabbat Shalom!
Why do we #WearOrange this weekend?
🔸 For the 42,000+ people killed every year.
🔸 For the 117 lives stolen each day.
🔸 For the 23 children and teens shot each day.
We remember them. We fight for them. We invite you to join us in wearing orange for them. 🧡
We're spotlighting Jewish Fund for Abortion Access grantees — and this week, we’re recognizing Diamonds For Doulas, who provides free doula support to families in Tuscaloosa, Alabama 💎✨

Hearing from Sarah Milgrim and Yaron Lischinsky's friends and family was heart-wrenching, and reminded us of their dedication to peace and diplomacy.
NCJW's CEO Jody Rabhan lit a yahrzeit candle in their honor, affirming that we must combat antisemitism in our communities.
This morning, the DC Jewish community gathered at the Israeli Embassy to honor Sarah Milgrim and Yaron Lischinsky's yahrzeits. Coming together to mourn as a community is a sacred and meaningful act.
May their memories forever be for a blessing. 🕯️
Anyone else planning an Off Campus rewatch or reread this weekend? 🙋♀️
Hannah Wells is a sexual assault survivor who refuses to let her past define her, and her love story has captured millions. May we all be inspired by her reminder that we define our own story.

Mental health care is health care. The Torah commands us to take care of our souls and our full selves, shmirat hanefesh.
Happy Mental Health Awareness Month from NCJW, because caring for yourself is an act of justice and is a miztvah.
For week four of our Jewish American Heritage Month: America 250 edition, we're honoring Jewish women of the Mid-20th Century. Vera Cooper Rubin, Gerda Lerner, & Justine Wise Polier changed what we know about the universe, about history, and about justice.

Too many of us are forced to choose between our health, our families, and our jobs.
That's why NCJW is fighting for universal paid family and medical leave. No one should lose a day's wages for taking care of themselves or the people they love.
