Looking forward to sharing the inauguration of @BirmCons’ new Juliet organ next week with brilliant Dan Moult. A week-long festival of great players and teachers follows!
Pictures of Selby Abbey following my concert in their celebrity series. The first outing of my ‘Out of the depths’ programme, designed to make me feel better about not living by the sea. Lovely to see a conservatoire organist in the audience who drew this magnificent likeness.

Memories of a quick jaunt to Paris a few weeks ago to play for the discerning people of @A_C_E_Tours! A swell division seems incomplete these days without a 32’ reed. Great to duet afloat with @EmilieCapulet!
Happy memories of days spent at wonderful @NewPathsMusic spring festival. Students played brilliantly, and it was a pleasure to hear Gillian speak about her life and work with Messiaen. I enjoyed playing for the Sunday service too. Can’t recommend the festival highly enough!
Congratulations to Godfrey Leung on winning @BirmCons’s Dame Gillian Weir Messiaen Prize. All performers played utterly brilliantly for an huge audience @Bev_Minster. The distinguished jury was Dame Gillian, Simon Johnson, & Libby Burgess. Thank you @NewPathsMusic for hosting!
It was a very great pleasure to be joined last week by our International Consultant, Nathan Laube. Nathan’s profound gifts as a performer and teacher are matched by his quite remarkable levels of integrity and commitment. Thank you so much, Nathan! Looking forward to next time!
I returned recently from leading a tour to Birmingham, Worcester and Malvern for @A_C_E_Tours. With Elgar as a focus, we did so many interesting things over 6 days. A personal highlight was playing the organ sonata at the Birmingham Oratory - what a sound!
