My final paper for my undergrad, it's on the split in SDS and the 1969 convention. I'm still getting line edits on it and working on smaller copy editing stuff but this version is something I'm still proud of.

@naolovesindo And yes he did get rid of the failed policy of agricultural collectivization, the commune system looks really nice in French Maoist documentaries but enhancing the people's livelihood is something that was clearly accomplished more fully after the Deng era reforms.
Revisionism in power = capitalist restoration is the basic ultra-left position on China. It comes from a metaphysical, black and white, understanding of revisionism, the Soviet experience showed quantity lept into quality. 1956 led to 1991 but not all at once and not unavoidably
@naolovesindo It's anti-Marxist is what is, dress it up with whatever ism you want. Deng suppressed a specific factional group not 'the revolutionary elements of the party' if you believe that then you believe that the overwhelming majority of the CPC under mao was not revolutionary.
@RedFrontTweeter Yes that is literally the point I am making, the incorrect line held by leadership does not make a counter revolution, that is a violent physical military and political act
@RedFrontTweeter Revisionist speeches and incorrect economic policy couldn't rip up the gains of the revolution, and the individual errors of mao don't undue his unparalleled contributions.
@RedFrontTweeter Here again we see black and white thinking. Did Mao make ultra-left errors? He also made rightist errors, I don't think he made of lot of errors, but yes I think this is one. 1991 is what capitalist restoration looks like, life expectancy collapsing and tanks in the street

"Far from a dark cloud of reaction descending and smothering all that is progressive, the upcoming period will be one of widespread conflict. Mao once referred to the reactionary Chiang Kai-shek as the top recruiter for the Communist Party of China. Trump is ours."

@ParanoidDigest@SwampCommunist@NTxcOYDLZiaulK3 A party of the multinational working class is what we are trying to build, and the US as an entity currently exists, politically economically, materially, and militarily. We have to organize in that reality while fighting for a better one, denying obstacles exist is just moralism
So proud to be a member of FRSO! We’ve just successfully held our 10th Congress where we analyzed our conditions and made plans to build a new communist party. The time ahead will be filled with struggle, and I know FRSO will be on the front lines

@RedArmory_ So maybe we don't agree on everything, but on the basic tasks it sounds like we do, you can read all about us doing this on https://t.co/L8OBHn483Z where we post articles about our work daily.
@RedArmory_ Our strategy for revolution involves three constant tasks.
1. Winning all that can be won (ie real material concessions) and striking blows against the enemy
2.Raising the general level of consciousness and organization
3.Winning advanced activists to marxism-Leninism
