Of the last 100 schools we have heard from about a need in the Class of 2023, 41% have been from the Division I level.

Of the last 100 in the Class of 2022, 1% have been from the Division I level.

An observation for 2022 grads:

College coaches seem to be further along in recruiting seniors this fall than previous years at this time, especially for position players.

Have an offer? Be very careful waiting for "something better" to pop up this spring. It likely will not.

You don't have to be all-or-nothing on D1 programs. You can start checking out programs that fit at other levels while still pursuing D1 programs.

We are hearing from non-D1 programs that already want a list of 2023's. Be early, not late.
