The delegation toured the facility, shared messages, and donated essential care packages and baby items.

On Friday, 20 De Duine Secondary School learners visited the Walvis Bay Correctional Facility with CODAC Director Mrs. Sini Thomas and 2 teachers.

Through tours and conversations with inmates, youth learned the power of smart choices and staying crime-free.

Over 680 people from villages surrounding Divundu Correctional Facility picked maize remaining in the fields, following last week’s harvest of two centre pivots.

The initiative aims to reduce food waste, support food security and strengthen facility relations with communities.
