Every morning I wake up and frantically check my email to see if I’ve finally been invited to get the vaccine! Impatiently waiting as I curse my parents for having a last name so far down in the alphabet
Remember in the spring when we were heroes and people were listening?
"In the imminent future, patients will start to die because there simply aren’t enough people to care for them."

Hello #MedTwitter anyone else legitimately terrified of this third wave. I’m in Connecticut and worried sick about the magnitude of this next wave of COVID
Anyone else just feel like they don’t play an active role in their own life anymore? Like you just exist and the world spins around you. I’ve had so many awful things happen in 2020
@AmerMedicalAssn Love waking up to my profession being attacked and during a pandemic no less in which my APP colleagues and i were begged to work since we are short staffed during this new rise in COVID cases. Luckily I work in a place were the physicians collaborate and work with APPs
I can’t help but add “and 1” every time they say 210,000 deaths since I had to call a family today to tell them their loved one died from COVID...but don’t worry because our president said not to let it control your life
Working a night shift is weird. You look at the clock and think...I would be waking up right now to come to work but Instead I’m stuck here for another 2.5 hours. Then you realize you wake up for work waaay too early!
@j_thePA Yep. Was just strongly encouraged to pick up 5 extra shifts on top of my schedule and asked to be “on-call” for the days I’m now off. Let the games begin
@theblondeMD We were told contact precautions for cdiff and confirmed MDR infections. Otherwise preserve all PPE for Covid patients. We also were told to reuse N95 masks and save them at the end of the day so hospital can figure out how to “re-sterilize” them
